Alternative has been awarded Citrix Specialist Status for Networking Data Centre. Citrix Specialisations are designed to recommend partners who have demonstrated proven technical competency and end-to-end service delivery of mobile workspace solutions to customers. This is the second Citrix specialist designation that Alternative has received in recent months, having been appointed a Citrix Virtualisation Specialist in July. The awards make Alternative one of the first Citrix partners in the UK to attain these two particular specialisations together. Alternative is already a Citrix Platinum Partner having worked with the US multinational software company for 10 years.
To achieve a Citrix Specialisation, a Citrix Solution Advisor must demonstrate deep, hands-on experience and customer success through completing rigorous requirements. Citrix Specialists hold certifications in leading-edge training, have passed a practicum exam, and have validation of their work through documented, successful customer implementations. Specialisations represent stronger customer value and satisfaction derived from highly qualified partners best prepared to handle multiple aspects of complex, technical projects and deliver holistic solutions supplied by a single organization.
With a Citrix Specialisation in Networking for Data Centre, Alternative has demonstrated the skills and ability needed to successfully plan, design, implement, manage and support holistic mobile workspace and delivery network solutions that meet customers’ needs. Claire Gibson, Go To Market Manager at Alternative, explains, “The specialisation awards recognise the most knowledgeable, expert and technically competent partners in the handling of complex, multi-facetted technical projects and the delivery of holistic solutions via a single organisation.”
Mark Beaumont, Head of Channel, UK & Ireland at Citrix, comments, “Citrix has an established and successful partnership with Alternative. This award is testament to a mixture of proficiency, exceptional customer service and hard work.”
