Founded in 1985 by managing director Phil Jordan, and previously based in Aston, Birmingham, the business started as a cabling company and has grown into an infrastructure and applications specialist.
Boasting a host of high-profile customers such as the NEC, Wimbledon, University of Westminster, Halfords, Solihull Care Trust, Swinton Insurance and Dixons Retail Group, Amillan is at the forefront of designing and implementing business solutions that can help companies work more efficiently and cost-effectively.
Phil Jordan, managing director of Amillan, said: “Amillan has been growing at an impressive rate and it became clear that we needed to identify new premises that could house our growing workforce. We are a Midlands business, born and bred, and were very keen to remain within the Midlands. The new location in Solihull is ideal as it is central to the motorway network, close to the M6, M40 and M42.
“The business is incredibly focused and has been growing despite the challenging financial climate. The move to the new premises is one more way in which Amillan can see its hard work paying off.”
Officially opened by Solihull MP Lorely Burt, Amillan’s launch was attended by over thirty of its partners and clients who were given a taster of the technologies available in the demonstration suite.
