AT Comms Secure £1.5 million VoIP Contracts

AT Communications Group Plc (“ATC”), one of the UK’s leading business-to-business systems integrators, has been awarded contracts with Greater Manchester Newspapers, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Guardian Newspaper Group, Northgate Information Solutions and L’Oreal, together worth an estimated £1.5 million over the next three years for IP products and solutions.

ATC has been awarded a contract to implement a fully converged VoIP platform for Greater Manchester Newspapers, supplying an Avaya ACM platform and initially supporting over 1,000 IP end points at their newly built headquarters. The new infrastructure will deliver multi-media services to the desktop utilising Hewlett Packard 10 gigabit LAN bandwidth direct to the desktop.

In addition, ATC has been successful in winning three VoIP contracts for Northgate Information Solutions (NIS), including their new major location in Hemel Hempstead. These solutions consist of Mitel and Cisco converged VoIP technologies.

ATC has also been awarded a fully managed service maintenance contract for NIS, to manage the NIS Group’s communications infrastructure.

In addition, ATC has also signed another branch contract with L’Oreal, leaders in the cosmetics market. The Group will be installing and maintaining IP technology and related services to L’Oreal.

Alex Tupman, ATC Chief Executive, said: “These are prestigious contract wins of strategic importance, and add to the strong forward earnings visibility of the Group in line with forecast and expectations. They illustrate the strength of ATC in the VoIP arena and in enterprise managed services. Furthermore, they come as a result of the smooth and rapid integration of our acquisitions, incorporating our enhanced best of breed portfolio and bundled solutions offerings.”
