Audio Visual Material appointed MediaStar’s new UK distributor

MediaStar Systems, a provider of IPTV, streaming and digital signage solutions, has announced that it has appointed Audio Visual Material (AVM Ltd) as its new distributor for the UK.

The partnership will allow AVM to introduce MediaStar to its roster of hand-selected reseller partners, whilst allowing MediaStar to continue working directly with its network of specialist AV integrators and consultants.

The MediaStar range of solutions will complement AVM’s audio-visual portfolio which ranges from projectors and displays through to mounts, brackets and signal management. AVM will also deliver ‘value-add’ services (such as technical support) and will take responsibility for negotiating extended warranties on MediaStar products and systems.

“This is a new direction for MediaStar because we have managed our channel partners directly in the UK previously,” said Mark Stanborough, sales director for EMEA and APAC at MediaStar Systems. “However, AVM is a great fit for us. They understand our technology, which enhances their existing range, and they focus on selling a complete solution, which we value very highly.”

The style of bespoke, personal service combined with expert knowledge offered by AVM has been crucial to the agreement between the two companies. MediaStar Systems has been a strong advocate for IPTV and digital signage solutions that are built for purpose, and works closely with partners who forge long-term relationships with end-user customers.

“Our technical team has a deep understanding of the solutions we sell, and works in tandem with our vendors and our resellers to deliver extra value and maximum margin,” said Andrew Rothery at AVM. “We have known MediaStar Systems for many years, and we are delighted to be working together to promote the company’s best-in-class visual communications tools.”

The MediaStar Systems product portfolio provides IPTV, digital signage and multimedia distribution. These solutions are primarily used by medium to large enterprises requiring future-proof, stable solutions for live TV corporate communications, multicasts, music TV, training and digital signage.
