Avaya has recommended that users of its "end-of-sale" Ethernet switches should migrate to offerings from Extreme Networks.
The company advised that Extreme would be able to provide a transition path for customers who have installed equipment from its Cajun line of Ethernet switches and plan to upgrade their converged network infrastructure.
Simon Woollett, vice president of Avaya's Converged Communications Division, added: "Avaya has been integrating and supporting the Extreme Networks product lines worldwide in its Intelligent Communications solutions for more than four years."
