Distributor Nimans is launching a unique sales academy for Avaya resellers. Fresh from being named Avaya’s 2008 Distributor of the Year for the UK and Ireland, Nimans has developed a two-day programme specifically for sales professionals on how to position Avaya in the marketplace.
“The new venture will complement our existing workshops so that resellers have a defined action plan covering a rolling six month period,” said Nimans’ Avaya Business Manager Tim Freeth. “We want them to be fully up-to-date on all the different products and applications available particularly surrounding IP Office.”
He continued: “We regularly run successful workshops but this is the first time we have developed a training scheme for sales professionals, especially for those that are new to Avaya. They will be run by both Nimans and Avaya staff, looking at how best to position Avaya in the market so that resellers can maximise their sales opportunities.
“This initiative is not available elsewhere and we believe it is an industry first, another example of our award-winning ethos and serve the customer philosophy.”
The programme starts on December 1st in Livingston, Guildford on the 8th and at Nimans’ HQ in Manchester on the 15th.
