Avaya Secures Listing on Catalist Telecom Network Framework Agreement in UK

Avaya has won a place as a supplier on the Telecom Networks Framework agreement created and managed by OGCbuying.solutions, the trading arm of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), part of HM Treasury.

The framework agreement allows customers throughout the UK public sector to place orders directly with Avaya to obtain VoIP telephony products as well as a host of other solutions designed to create a converged voice and data network, all under pre-agreed standard terms and conditions.

"The award of this contract helps underscore Avaya's leadership in converged communications and VoIP telephony, which are high on the Transformational Government Agenda and therefore the wish-list of private and public sector organizations alike," said Jonathan Buckle, head of public sector, Avaya UK. "We look forward to building on Avaya's long history of innovation and working to help new public sector customers better manage their resources - and deliver impactful new services that reflect the needs and concerns of citizens," Buckle concluded.

Within the Catalist framework agreement, Avaya can now sell all products within the Avaya portfolio, and products from key global partners Extreme Networks and Juniper. In addition, Avaya will deliver implementation and support services via its Global Services organisation.
