Avnet Technology Solutions UK introduces its first industry specialisation practice - HealthPath

Avnet Technology Solutions has introduced its first industry specialisation practice in the UK. HealthPath is designed to help Avnet UK business partners to differentiate themselves in the UK health market and tap into an expanding opportunity. HealthPath™ provides business partners with the knowledge and technology to sell solutions to organisations in the health sector, including the all important National Health Service (NHS).

“Healthcare and clinicians already know the value of technology when dealing with patients, the increased use of scanning equipment for both diagnosis and treatment being an example of this. However, with the NHS facing the Nicholson Challenge to reduce spending by £20 billion in efficiency savings by 2015 and four percent savings year-on-year, the IT Channel will need to prove new solutions will save money and improve patient care.
