With nearly 600 people eagerly waiting to hear the results of the awards Debra treated us to some impersonations along with a bit of gentle ribbing of certain members of the audience! Debra’s uncanny talent had the audience in stitches as she delivered faultless impersonations of Katie Price, Anne Robinson, Miranda Heart, Hilary Devey and many more.
History was made when two organisations, Excell Group and Virtual1, managed to walk away with three awards each for the first time ever! Virtual1 managed to win ‘Internet Service Provider of the Year’, ‘Wholesale Service Provider of the Year’ and MD, Tom O’Hagan, took home ‘Channel Entrepreneur of the Year’. All three of the awards were met with rapturous applause from the Virtual1 table and by the third award Tom must have been thinking he will be need a bigger cabinet to put them all in!
The Bar was bustling as members of the Channel set about networking over a few drinks...and then some more! The Photo booth, sponsored by Blabbermouth, proved popular as ever and we are all eagerly waiting for the pictures to make their way into the office!
