Axonex Ready for Further Growth in 2011

Cheltenham based Cisco reseller Axonex is prepared for 2011 on the back of an outstanding 2010 with several significant customer wins, new marketing leadership and the opening of new offices.

Three new recent contracts awarded to Axonex include major orders from market leading companies such as Mitsubishi, Premiere and Ultra Electronics.

Axonex has also strengthened its senior management team by appointing former Cisco and Intel senior European marketing leader, Simon Jacobson as its Head of Marketing. Simon will be responsible for developing and managing the Axonex brand, advertising, digital, events, PR and partner marketing strategy and programs.

The expansion had continued with the recruitment of Jon Beamish as Business Development Manager. Jon will focus on growing the Cisco technology based Axonex data centre solutions business. Jon has joined Axonex from Hardware.com; previously Jon held senior management roles within IT based in the Gulf region.

The growth in business and customer base in 2010 has also resulted in Axonex, whose headquarters are located in Eagle Tower, Cheltenham are planning to open regional offices in London and South Wales.
