AYC Telecom Announce New Channel Strategy

AYC Telecom has adopted a single distributor; Poole based Hugh Symons, for the UK, mirroring the model they have adopted for other countries throughout the world.

Paul Howard, CEO at AYC Telecom told Comms Business Magazine, “The change to this new channel strategy is a very positive move for AYC that will enhance the channel opportunities and make the sales, installation and support processes easier and more efficient.” Howard also states the move will enable them to focus on training, education, support and fulfilment of the product by one partner, which will remove conflict and simplify stock and delivery logistics. It will also ensure that AYC can focus our marketing and advertising to the benefit the channel.

Howard says that AYC has been selling steadily since March this year and has sold over 15,000 VoIP ports to date. “This move to a dedicated main distributor will enhance the sales potential to exceed what has been achieved thus far.”

The IPcts system is a SIP IP PBX system including voicemail, CTI, Auto Attendant amongst other features such as presence enabling full mobility. The system, initially for up to 25 extensions, is aimed at the SME market.
