AYCTelecom and Gamma Partner to Deliver VoIP Telephony

AYCTelecom today announced its partnership with voice applications provider, Gamma Telecom to jointly deliver Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony services. The partnership combines Gamma’s IPDirectConnect service and AYCTelecom’s IPcts IP-PBX system to offer SMEs a cost effective IP-based solution that has been fully tested.

Paul Howard, CEO of AYCTelecom commented, “Gamma’s innovative IPDirectConnect service delivers high quality, value added IP-based telephony to the SME market. The combination of Gamma’s direct IP trunk and AYC’s feature-rich and cost-effective IPcts IP-PBX system will provide end-users with fast and easy access to a range of new IP services that meet the demands of the SME market.”

Phil Corbishley, CTO of Gamma Telecom commented, “The collaboration between Gamma and AYC delivers an end-to-end IP-based telephony solution that has been thoroughly tested and promises the end-user a robust telephony system.”

IPDirectConnect connects Gamma's network directly into the end-user’s equipment (e.g. IP PBX) enabling full PSTN connectivity through to the IP backbone. The system is one of the first pure IP services in the UK and will be available over LLU and SDSL in selected areas. The service is built on a proven IP platform that has been serving Gamma’s Carrier customers with IP Telephony service for the last 16 months.
