Azlan forms UK distribution partnership with Firemon

Azlan has formed a new partnership with FireMon, bringing the company’s risk analysis and policy and configuration management solutions into reach of the UK’s value-added reseller and managed services provider communities.

FireMon’s platform-independent solutions enable enterprises and public sector customers to assess and prioritise network vulnerabilities and pro-actively defend networks from external threats and those created by inadequate configuration and management of security policies. They can also be used as a key component of an effective enterprise managed security services offering.

With immediate effect, Azlan will be offering FireMon’s complete range of network security solutions to UK VARs. This includes the recently-launched FireMon Security Manager 6.0, which combines risk analysis and assessment with configuration management, enforcement and auditing of network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches and load balancers.

Mark Corrigan, Head of Enterprise and Access Networking at Azlan, said: “FireMon leads the way in enterprise risk analysis and management. This is a significant addition to our portfolio and one that complements our existing vendor relationships very well indeed. For our customers addressing the enterprise and public sector markets, security and policy management is a growing opportunity. BYOD and the increasing diversity of mobile devices are compelling end-user organisations to open up their networks and there is an increasing threat from organised theft of data and identities. With Firemon’s advanced solutions, resellers can deal with these issues for their customers and drive valuable incremental business for themselves.”

Juan Lyall, Channel Manager EMEA for Firemon, added: “Azlan has a great reputation for building presence within the UK enterprise channel and we are looking forward to working with them to reach out to the VAR community. This important partnership will open up new opportunities to drive growth of both management solutions and managed services value propositions that unburden the customer from time-intensive, yet vital, security management tasks.”
