Azlan goes for continued growth with Juniper Networks

Aims to recruit more resellers and boost market share over coming year

Azlan, the enterprise networking business unit of Tech Data, is embarking on a campaign to further accelerate its sales growth for Juniper Networks’ industry-leading security and networking solutions. The company is also looking to invest further in the significant business development and support capabilities that it has built up over the past 12 months so that it can add even more value for value-added networking resellers in the UK.

A team dedicated to Juniper has been put in place at Azlan to provide focused product marketing and business development support, and resellers can also draw on the wider capabilities of Azlan’s sales and technical teams. This enables resellers to source all the equipment and professional support needed to develop sophisticated, open and fully integrated enterprise solutions from a single source.

Andrew Shepperd, UK Director of Azlan, says that the time is right for Azlan to step up the drive for growth with Juniper. “The partnership between Azlan and Juniper has become very strong over the last six months. Having signed a distribution agreement little more than a year ago we are now well-positioned to boost our significant rate of growth in line with demand from resellers and their enterprise customers in the UK. Over the next 12 months we plan to build on these firm foundations and to establish Azlan as a leading distribution partner for Juniper in the UK market.”

Juniper’s global revenues have continued to grow steadily, he notes, and its products have become ever-more popular with an increasing number of resellers. “By delivering innovative networking and security solutions that combine excellent performance and value, Juniper has established a significant presence in the enterprise market. This is the ideal time for Azlan to make further investments in the Juniper enterprise brand, as well as demonstrate the tremendous range and combination of comprehensive services and added-value that Azlan can deliver.” Shepperd states.

As well as investing in dedicated personnel, Azlan is putting in place a series of marketing and promotional initiatives aimed at giving resellers additional value and support on Juniper products. It is building up its stocks of demonstration units, which resellers can use to help develop sales, and will also draw on the unrivalled stock holding, logistical and financial capabilities of Tech Data to deliver further value to resellers around Juniper solutions and equipment.
