Azlan Helps Cisco Develop SMB Voice And UC Channel

Azlan, the enterprise division of Computer 2000, is planning to help Cisco recruit and develop an expanded reseller channel for its new SMB-focused voice and unified communications solutions, which were announced at the recent Cisco Partner Summit in New Orleans.

The company announced two new purpose-built solutions that offer small and medium-sized organisations complete, affordable, business-class collaboration systems that deliver enterprise-class voice and UC at SMB-prices. It has also announced enhancements that enable full integration of video and WebEx with these solutions.

Azlan has invested in additional resources to support resellers in the UC and voice market and is working with Cisco to recruit, train and enable partners who want to open up the massive potential for UC and voice sales. It will now be stepping up its efforts even more, said Gonzalo Chavarri, Cisco SMB Voice Specialist for Azlan.

“We have been recruiting new partners for Cisco UC and voice solutions for some time and we’ve seen excellent levels of uptake and strong sales in the enterprise and mid-market spaces. The new additions to the Cisco portfolio extend the opportunity to a much wider market by making it practical and affordable for SMB customers to deploy advanced unified comms solutions. There is genuine potential here for resellers that are focused on smaller businesses and Azlan is now stepping up its recruitment drive to make sure we can bring these opportunities to as many partners as possible.”

An extensive end-user demand-creation programme is already underway and generating leads for partners. Azlan has also produced a series of HTML mailers which partners can use to run their own e-mail marketing campaigns, targeting potential customers for Cisco voice and collaboration solutions. In addition, Azlan is offering specialist support from its team of Cisco-trained Solutions Architects and sales experts.

Cisco worked alongside Azlan on its stand at the Convergence Summit North in Manchester in March where the new solutions weredemonstrated for the first time.
