Azlan has been named VMware Distributor of the Year 2016 for the UK and Ireland. Azlan was recognised for its sales growth and market share over the past 12 months, as well as its success in enabling partners for AirWatch, VMware’s enterprise mobility management platform.
Azlan grew its VMware sales by 36 percent and increased its market share, making it the number-one VMware distributor in the UK and Ireland.
“We are proud of our achievements with VMware and pleased to have our efforts recognised,” Peter Spreadbury (pictured), director, Enterprise Software for Azlan, stated. “The technical excellence of VMware’s Software Defined Data Centre (SDDC) and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions make it the first choice for demanding deployments where optimum performance, scalability and control are vital. That gives Azlan and VMware partners a solid platform on which to build strong and dependable solutions for enterprise customers. With the solutions VMware is now bringing forward, we believe there is even more potential and Azlan will continue to work with VMware and its partners to drive further growth.”
Alanzo Blackstock, Director, UK&I Partner Organisation at VMware, stated “Azlan has shown tremendous commitment in supporting VMware partners to develop and grow their business and fully deserve this recognition. They have demonstrated exceptional energy and innovation in helping both VMware and its partners achieve our strategic goals. We enjoy a highly productive partnership with Azlan and look forward to continuing and building upon that success.”
