As Director of TDAzlan Unified Communications, Chimoindes will be responsible for assembling and leading a team of experts that will provide resellers with all the specialist service that support they need to develop and grow their unified communications and collaboration sales.
His appointment represents the latest in a series of strategic investments aimed at establishing TDAzlan as the leading value-added distribution partner this rapidly-growing area of the market. Chimoindes stated: “This is an exciting organisation to be part of right now. According to TDAzlan Unified communications has been talked about and hyped for several years, but it is only now that the disparate technology components (voice, video, messaging and networking) can be truly integrated into a realistically viable and robust solution. “Standards like SIP are now pretty much universally accepted, and now with market consolidation, in Cisco’s acquisition of Tandberg video, and Avaya’s acquisition of Nortel, there are opportunities for those prepared to make the right investments”, he added.
Chimoindes joined TDAzlan from Avnet where he most recently held a similar position to his new role. He previously enjoyed spells at both Horizon and Imago Group.
