Strong rumours in the channel this week lead Comms Business Magazine to believe that Azzurri are set to make a further acquisition – this time High Wycombe based reseller MiTech.
Azzurri Communications was formed in June 2000 with support from 3i and the Bank of Scotland, and is currently made up of fourteen strategic company acquisitions. Annualised turnover stands in excess of £100 million. There are almost 650 employees nation-wide.
Headquartered in Newbury, Azzurri currently has sales and support operations in Fareham, London, Kingston, Birmingham, Manchester, Burnley, Leeds, Hull and East Kilbride.
MiTech is a well established reseller and has built a reputation for selling sophisticated converged solutions to larger enterprise customers. In recent times this activity has resulted in MiTech winning several industry awards.
Comms Business Magazine believes the announcement of the purchase will be made today, a likelihood confirmed by a senior executive from one of their key vendor partners who did not want to be identified.
