Babble continues CCaaS investment with the acquisition of Ultracomms

Babble has announced its acquisition of UItracomms and said that the deal continues its rapid buy and build strategy, which has been complemented by organic growth over the last 12 months. This is the company’s first acquisition following the investment by Graphite Capital at the end of 2020, which valued the business at £90 million.

Matt Parker (pictured), chief executive of Babble, said, “This year we will continue to acquire innovative and resilient businesses that are making an impact in the market, both to grow the capabilities we can provide to our customers and to fill our business with the best people in the industry. We have another five acquisitions in the pipeline in the next six months, and we’re on track to double our EBITDA run rate to £20m by November 2021.”

Derwyn Jones, CEO at UItracomms, added, “We are delighted to announce that Ultracomms is now part of Babble. A progressive and ambitious business such as Babble has the capabilities to continue to provide our customers with the technology and expertise they require to further enhance their customer experience.”

Babble works with over 2,000 organisations in sectors including financial, health and education, travel and accommodation, and public services. It sources and deploys cloud solutions to deliver increased efficiency, customer engagement and profitability, whilst protecting customers’ businesses.
