Barber Appointed Senior Channel Product Manager at Zen

Zen Internet has strengthened its Channel proposition further with the appointment of David Barber as Senior Channel Product Manager.

This appointment together with Zen’s recently launched enhanced Partner Programme support Zen’s commitment to be the First Choice IT and Comms Channel Provider in the UK, bringing an increased focus on the development and implementation of a strategy to deliver sustainable growth for Zen’s Channel business.

Over the coming months David will be reaching out to existing Partners via face to face meetings and wider surveys in order to get a clear picture of what Partners need from Zen to help drive the growth of their businesses, culminating in a partner roadmap that reflects the needs of Zen’s channel.

“As Senior Channel Product Manager I’m looking forward to working closely with Zen’s Partners and the internal development teams focussing on developing Partner centric products and services that will demonstrate Zen’s commitment to the Channel,” said David.

“As Zen grows its product portfolio, we will make sure our Partners have the expertise to make the most of new additions. There are huge opportunities out there. We want our partners to be able to take advantage of every one, helping them achieve their revenue goals in 2015 and beyond,” added David.

Zen’s recently unveiled commission scheme is part of a series of planned enhancements to its acclaimed Partner Programme. Along with the more competitive commercials launched, longer term it will also include growing the existing training programme, developing a comprehensive range of new online tools, augmenting the provision of dedicated Technical support and investing in cutting-edge marketing support.

The commercials make it easier for Partners to calculate their earning potential whether selling Connectivity, Hosting, Voice or full solutions. It provides progressive rewards including streamlined pricing, higher recurring commission and improved discount percentages enabling Partners to achieve their business objectives and enjoy continued growth. On the new scheme a Partner selling Broadband could now earn a maximum recurring commission of 15%.

The commercials underpin the programme but Zen also believes that education and knowledge are key to building Partner relationships. Whilst Zen regularly runs broadband workshops and training events, this is soon going to be extended to include the full product portfolio and will include webinars, open courses and, where relevant, bespoke training.

Zen has invested heavily in its dedicated Partner Portal to make it user-friendly and provides comprehensive online resources, including self-service tools, information and a wealth of technical guides and documentation. New tools will be launched over the coming months.

Partners can already ring our UK-based support teams 24 hours a day, seven days a week and talk to a technical expert. Zen are, however, planning on further augmenting the level of dedicated Technical Support available as well as increasing marketing support for Partners to enable them to run their own revenue generating campaigns.
