Bardsley Team Smashes World Record

Adam Bardsley of Oak Telecom together with 11 other runners broke the Guinness World Record for non-stop running in the 48 hours leading up to the London Marathon last weekend. The record attempt which took place in the shop window of Lillywhites raised money for Tommy’s the baby charity.

“We took the record from 416miles to 496miles in the 48hours. That’s an average pace of 16.6km/h which is 5:50 per mile. We even managed that despite a lightning strike on Friday that took out the power. Luckily only for minutes though! Some of the sights you see on a Friday/Saturday night in Piccadilly!”

Tough man Bardsley then completed the London Marathon with his group up in 3hrs 45mins.
