BICS, a global provider of wholesale carrier services and a pioneer in the mobile financial services market, and Tranglo, a prominent international mobile financial transactions hub operator in Malaysia, today announced that Tranglo has connected to the international remittance hub, HomeSend.

This partnership will enable new HomeSend corridors across Asia, specifically from Malaysia as well as towards Indonesia and the Philippines.

Tranglo operates gloTransfer, gloReload and gloRemit, an international mobile airtime credit and electronic money remittance hub. This service enables migrants to effectively and affordably transfer funds internationally.

HomeSend is a strategic business partnership between BICS and eServGlobal, allowing the real-time transfer of any type of funds, and from various fund sources, such as eWallets, bank accounts, credit cards and cash.

Frédéric Schepens, SVP Mobile Financial Services at BICS said “We are delighted to work with Tranglo and to leverage their unusual role as both a sending as well as receiving partner in Asia. In turn Tranglo benefits from HomeSend’s growing ecosystem globally.’’

Sia Hui Yong, Tranglo’s CEO said “We are very excited and pleased with the cooperation with BICS. Through this smart partnership, both BICS and Tranglo will be able to synergize our strength to provide the widest coverage and most cost-effective transactions for our global partners.”
