Bitglass has partnered with Ignition Technology, a specialist software based security Value Added Distributor (VAD), to drive Bitglass’ Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) and agentless mobile security solution into the UK marketplace.
The new partnership will see Ignition Technology bring Bitglass’ SaaS platform to key resellers and partners in the UK to address growing cloud and mobile security needs in enterprises. Bitglass is the only CASB to offer real-time, end-to-end data protection from any cloud app, including Office 365, Salesforce, and G Suite, to any device.
“There has been a huge surge in demand for cloud security from enterprises as cloud adoption accelerates in the UK,” said Eduard Meelhuysen, VP Sales EMEA at Bitglass. “We are fully committed to helping enterprises realise the flexibility and cost saving of the cloud, without compromising on control and visibility over data. We are very pleased to be rolling out the Bitglass CASB and agentless mobile security solution in partnership with Ignition Technology and look forward to building close relationships with partners in the region.”
“The increasing demand for solutions that protect data across cloud environments and mobile devices has started to manifest into real budget lines and RFIs which is a great opportunity for our channel partners,” said Sean Remnant, Chief Strategy Officer at Ignition Technology. “Adding Bitglass to our growing portfolio of software based security solutions allows our channel partners to address many of their customers’ growing data protection challenges, including GDPR, Shadow IT, BYOD and the prolific rise of malware. We’re already working with a handful of partners and are looking to grow to around eight focused partners in total.”
Remnant continued, “As the only value-added distributor in the UK to work with both Bitglass and Cylance we are uniquely positioned to take advantage of a partnership that delivers predictive malware prevention and advanced threat protection to cloud and BYOD across the enterprise, giving our channel partners a differentiated proposition – Advanced Threat Protection by Bitglass, powered by Cylance, enabled by Ignition.”
