Board Changes at Daisy

Daisy Group plc has announced the appointment of Anthony Riley as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, with immediate effect.

Anthony is a chartered accountant and joins the board from Daisy Communications Limited, where he was appointed Chief Financial Officer in August 2008. Anthony has over 13 years’ experience of senior financial roles. Prior to joining Daisy Communications Limited, Anthony was Finance Director of Homeserve Claims Management Limited between 2002 and 2008, where he helped guide the company through a period of significant continued growth.

Following nine years with the Company, Stewart Porter has decided to step down to pursue other interests.

“We are delighted to welcome Anthony to the Board and we are confident that his experience at Daisy Communications Limited and elsewhere will prove valuable to the next stage of our growth. Over his time as CFO at Daisy Communications Limited, Anthony oversaw the acquisition and integration of three businesses; giving him good experience which will be crucial for his role in the Company.”

Over the last nine years he has been instrumental in the growth of the Company, including consolidating 15 companies into what became Pipex and its sale to Tiscali in 2007. In addition, Stewart has been key to the careful management of the reverse takeover of Vialtus and Daisy Communications Limited into Freedom4 Group plc. I wish him all the success in his future ventures.”
