Boost to UK networks as Easynet reveals new fibre product

Easynet pushes boundaries from the last mile to the last yard with new fibre-to-the-cabinet

Crucially for British businesses, fast, efficient networks are high on the UK Government’s agenda following its £50 million broadband boost in last month’s UK Government budget. Cloud Computing, flexible working and unified communications can only reach their full potential for businesses if they are driven by powerful networks. Recognising this, Easynet has launched a range of Fibre-To-The-Cabinet access products with broadband speeds similar to those on Local Area Networks, all of which can be installed within 20 working days.

FTTC technology makes reliable, secure and cost-effective networks a reality for more UK businesses by shortening the distance between business premises and high-speed fibre connections. Easynet can now build new connections outside its extensive unbundled exchange (LLU) footprint. Easynet’s Business VDSL portfolio, with speeds of up to 80Mbps, will be available to around 30% of UK businesses initially, increasing to around 80% by 2014.
