A Yorkshire telecommunications company, which is one of just 17 in the country with a Vodafone license, has rebranded. Vocall UK Ltd, Protocall Ltd, Vitel Systems and Vitel Networks became Abzorb when it launched at the National Media Museum.
The new brand, Abzorb, sees the Brighouse-based business combine Vocall Ltd with B2B dealer Protocall, fixed-line reseller Vitel Systems and IT infrastructure provider Vitel Networks. Protocall is a direct Vodafone, O2 and Orange B2B dealer. Vitel Systems is a BT licencee, selling fixed-line, broadband and VoIP solutions. The company is now on course to record a turnover of £9 million this financial year – an increase of £2.5 million from last year and has a target to turnover £30m in the next five years.
Abzorb’s Vodafone Service Provider license enables it to manage clients’ Vodafone accounts directly and provide more flexible solutions and packages. It is also one of a select few companies nationally to be given the BT license.
Abzorb Solutions Managing Director, Mike Walsh, said: “We have already enjoyed great success but now is the time for us to change our outlook and take a new direction.
“Because we provide complete telecommunication solutions from mobiles and fixed lines to phone systems and network services, we have recognised the need to make it clearer to our customers exactly what we offer.
“Re-branding the company will allow us to provide the services of our four companies as a single entity and the state-of-the-art website will enable us to engage, communicate and inform clients more than ever before of the telecommunications benefits available to their business.
“We have extensive experience in providing an unrivalled level of service and this will be improved further with the introduction of dedicated account managers and interactive facilities through our website which are specifically geared towards large organisations.
“Although not isolating SMEs, our services are now structured to enable us to increase our portfolio of large, blue-chip companies.”
