BroadSoft Announces Record Results

VoIP platform vendor BroadSoft has announced that 2005 marked an extremely successful year for the company, with major customer wins, leading-edge technology and product launches, and the addition of key personnel around the globe to drive consistent results. In the UK both HipCom and VanillaIP, amongst others, use the BroadSoft platform

In bullet point terms, 2005 saw BroadSoft:

* Count 6 of the top 10 and 11 of the top 25 global carriers (based on

revenue) as customers, with an overall base of more than 150 customers and 1,750,000 lines deployed

* Achieve profitability for the year, reaching the milestone ahead of plan

* Double revenues for the year, ending with the eighth consecutive quarter of sequential quarterly revenue growth

* Deliver IMS-compliant VoIP application software to the market with partners such as Ericsson, Lucent, and Italtel

* Grow company by more than 50 percent, with the opening of new offices in Australia, China, France, Germany, Korea, New Zealand, and UK.

* Acquire Australian software development firm to enter the VoIP desktop application space

* Launch multimedia services, including Custom Ringback and the BroadWorks Communicator video softphone
