BT Global Services has developed four strategic sector teams to better serve its customers: banking & financial markets, government & health, consumer packaged goods and manufacturing, logistics & pharmaceuticals. Customers active in these sectors benefit from a range of industry focused assets in product portfolio, solution designs and infrastructure as well as sector specific customer management and service teams. Jeff Kelly, CEO BT Global Services, said: “BT Global Services operates globally and delivers locally for our customers, and our diverse global leadership team reflects our commitment to the industries in which our customers operate. I believe we already have a unique breadth of scope, reach and capability. By focusing our organisation around our customers, we offer them improved access to teams with decades of experience of solving problems in their sector. This is much more than a layer of sales activity, this is about specialist people, portfolio and intellectual property, embedded throughout our business. Our customers can leverage many of our market leading assets, such as the BT Radianz platform supporting global banking and financial markets, or our large number of accredited supply chain specialists supporting the consumer packaged goods and global commerce sectors or the unique know-how we have developed in global health through our successful deployment of government contracts in the UK. We have been serving the world’s biggest brands in each of those industries for many years, and have a track record of helping them thrive. We have an absolutely unique competitive advantage that will reinforce our position as a global leader in networked IT services.”
