BT Introduces Business Triple Play

According to BT, for the first time in the UK, businesses can save time, money and hassle by combining their landline, mobile and broadband services into one package.

BT say their Business One Plan is the UK’s only “triple play” service designed for business, gives customers a wide range of benefits by delivering potential cost and time savings.

These include mobile calls to other mobiles and landlines within the UK capped at 25p for our special offer and the option to cap fixed to mobile calls at 25p, to give the customer control over the cost of calling and using mobiles.

One Plan also offers a 50 per cent reduction on BT’s standard capped UK landline rates with a 5p cap for up to an hour and just one bill and a single point of contact for all the customer’s billing, fault and service enquiries. Additionally, customers could get a five per cent discount on their annual communications spend on all the elements within the plan.

BT is introducing One Plan comes in response to customer demand, with 42 per cent of small businesses in the UK thinking that consolidating their suppliers would increase their efficiency, yet 62 per cent having more than four suppliers for telecoms and IT alone.

One third of the UK’s small businesses choose to use their mobiles in preference to their landlines, 70 per cent of the average business call bill is mobile related (either mobile to mobile or fixed to mobile) and 41 per cent of small businesses spend more than £110 a month on mobile calls. BT Business One Plan brings together broadband with capped fixed and mobile calls offering businesses the potential to increase efficiency, whilst also reducing costs.

Customers can have even more control over costs as BT also provides the option of Free Billing Analyst software that allows companies to see and track their communications spend in the plan, on one bill, in one place.
