BT Launches Fixed Cost ‘All You Can Eat’ Calls.

In a move that is certain to start a feeding frenzy of ‘me too’ offers BT has launched its best ever low cost business broadband package offering resellers a competitive entry-level 'all you can eat' voice product, for the first time. The package, which is ideal for targeting the small and medium sized enterprise (SME) market, will enable the channel to offer new and existing BT Business Broadband customers unlimited national and local calls for £14.99 per month.

Mark Cornell, Director of Partner Management at BT Business, commented: "Our channel partners understand the importance of broadband when it comes to maximising sales opportunities. Broadband is the key to the door of increased sales via value added services like voice, security and business efficiency tools. Without a broadband network relationship, resellers run the risk of losing out on new and existing business."

"The channel has been hearing about convergence for a long time, but products like Broadband Voice prove it has arrived in a very simple and cost effective way. BT is committed to helping our partners communicate the real benefits of convergence, framing it as a solution to business issues, and aiding in the development of the software and applications skill set to deliver it."

Prices for BT Business Broadband start from £19.99 per month (excl VAT), including a free router and free connection. Customers who order Single, Share or Network products will also receive a £30 cash back when they subscribe to IT Support Manager.

This off the shelf product combined with free support will enable many resellers to cost effectively target new business in growth areas like satellite offices and home workers.

To support its launch of BT Broadband Voice, BT has kicked off a comprehensive business-wide marketing programme to drive end user demand for the product. To further drive sales, BT is offering its online 'Campaign Creator' tool, which allows resellers to brand and tailor their marketing collateral, to target their own customer base.

BT is also hosting a series of 'Power Days' up and down the country whereby the executive sales team are making on-site visits to explain the benefits of Broadband Voice.
