BT Mobile Launches Wi-Fi and 4G Calling.

BT Mobile is now offering customers Wi-Fi Calling. Wi-Fi Calling means users can boost coverage and use wi-fi and text when they can’t get a signal – whether that’s at home or in coverage blackspots.

There’s no need to sign up, register or download an app to use BT Mobile Wi-Fi Calling as users can simply switch it on in the phone’s settings when they need it.

Importantly, there’s no extra cost with BT Mobile Wi-Fi Calling, calls and texts come out of user monthly allowances or are charged at the standard rate.

4G Calling

At the same time the company has also launched 4G calling. BT says users don’t need to switch anything on or off, it works automatically. Users can make and receive calls with BT Mobile wherever there’s 4G coverage, meaning they can stay connected in more places and BT Mobile 4G Calling also gives you crystal clear sound quality.

BT Mobile 4G Calling allows use of 4G data as you talk so users can stream videos at 4G speeds at the same time – ideal BY says for using things like Google Maps and making calls simultaneously.

The new services are available on selected enabled BT Mobile handset plans. Wi-Fi Calling is available on iPhone 5S and above – a Wi-Fi connection is required. 4G Calling is available on iPhone 6 and above – a 4G connection is required.
