Martin Clarke BT’s General Manager for Indirect Partner Sales has launched an enhanced service that means business customers can connect to the internet at public hotspots – just like the way you connect wirelessly at home or in the office.
Clarke commented, “BT has over three million broadband wireless internet hotspots in the UK & Ireland and with the increasing need to access information whilst out and about we think this adds even more value to an already popular offering.”
A further benefit of the enhancement is that new BT Business Broadband customers will automatically be offered the unlimited BT Openzone minutes using their primary BT Connect e-mail address and password. They can log on via www.btopenzone.com .Customers will be notified of this on the welcome e-mail, which contains information on how to log on and where to find hotspots and will be able to use BT Wi-Fi from that point.
Clarke added “The BT Business Hub can also act as an Openzone hotspot which can help businesses attract more customers, and develop an additional revenue stream through selling vouchers.”
To help partners make the most of this enhancement, and understand more about how BT Business Broadband & Wi-Fi can help gain competitive advantage BT is offering partner resellers personalised training sessions.
