Whilst the whole channel is mulling over the downturn of the PBX, NEC have had a different experience altogether. Year on year they’ve seen an overall increase in CCU system sales of an impressive 43%.
Andrew Cooper, NEC Sales Director says, “Year on year we’ve seen an overall increase in CCU system sales of over 40%; certainly our resellers haven’t been reading the script.”
The reason for this reversal in the trend? Cooper continues, “Many factors of course, including changes elsewhere in the marketplace, but certainly the price point on the SL1100 has been a big factor.”
“For SME’s the scalability of the SV8100 has also proved to have enduring appeal – end users want the re-assurance they can expand the system at any stage to grow with their business.”
