Business Systems Awarded G-Cloud Status

Cloud
Business Systems UK has announced that it has been accepted onto the Government’s G-Cloud iii programme. As an official supplier on the UK Government CloudStore, Business Systems’ long time technology solutions are now available on the most up-to-date application platform which is totally in harmony with the government’s drive for service delivery and efficiency through the ‘Platform As a Service’ and ‘Software As a Service’ models.

The framework creates a level playing field for all enterprises looking to transact with central government departments who will now have the opportunity to reduce costs using hosted Services. Business Systems’ will be able to provide government bodies with a range of hosted applications starting with Call Recording and the associated WFO modules which provide PCI Compliance, Quality Assurance and Analytics for all landline, VOIP and mobile telephony.

Intelligent call routing will also be a key element of the Business Systems’ offering, ensuring government bodies can assign the right staff with the right skill-set to the right calls for an improved customer experience, regardless of where they are geographically located. Customisable reporting tools will enable managers to analyse elements such as call volumes, calls per hour, call duration or dropped calls so that call handling can be improved and costs reduced accordingly.

According to Peter Middleton from the Cabinet Office, G-Cloud team “The Government has introduced a Public Cloud First Policy mandate. We believe that the time is now right to put this mandate in place to strengthen and accelerate the push to cloud computing services.” Putting this into practice means that when considering IT procurement, public organisations must have fully evaluated potential cloud solutions alongside other alternatives.

Richard Mill, Managing Director of Business Systems UK commented “With central government departments looking to cut costs and being mandated to evaluate cloud solutions, we feel we have a very strong offering which will be well received and are delighted to have been accepted onto the G-Cloud framework. We look forward to responding to a variety of projects and working with government bodies in due course.”
