He is tasked with guiding the ambitious company through its next phase of growth and development that will see Business Telecom expand its sphere of operations from its current East of England base to achieve its goal of national coverage within five years – as it seeks to become a recognised brand serving the business community across the country.
The sales, engineering and call centre managers will report directly to Paul and he will assume responsibility for all aspects of the accounting and administration functions.
Paul brings a wealth of management skills to the company, gained through decades of experience. This included his initial training gained at local accountants Lovewell Blake and 26 years with Hoseasons Holidays where amongst other roles, he was Finance Director, Commercial Director, Company Secretary and Trustee.
“My arrival will allow the company founders, Chris and Theresa Boughton-Fox to concentrate on key projects that will accelerate the growth and profitability of the company, freeing them from any time consuming administrative detail,” said Paul who pointed out that Chris himself is being elevated from Managing Director to Chairman.
He added: “I am very much looking forward to playing a key role as Business Telecoms looks to accelerate its already impressive growth to become a major force on the national stage. The platform is now in place to reach all our targets.”
