A year on from its return to the channel and Cable&Wireless is standing by its commitment not to compete in the same space as its channel partners, unlike many other operators who are in direct competition with the resellers they count as customers.
Ian Thomas, Managing Director Public Sector and Partners, Cable&Wireless Worldwide, explains: “Last year we said we were back – and backing the channel 100% – so we don’t directly compete with them for the SME customer base. A year later we’re still strongly positioned in the sector, with the same focus on our channel partners.
Our partners benefit from market leading capability, scaled specifically for them to pass on to SMEs, including guaranteed assured rate DSL services combined with our full support. We’ll continue to develop compelling products, allowing them to be successful in the SME market.” commented Thomas.
With the addition of products including Online Back-up and Managed Exchange delivered through a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, Cable&Wireless enables its partners to create compelling solutions for their SME customers that, historically, would have only been available to large enterprises.
