Cable&Wireless launches new Wholesale solution for its channel partners

Cable&Wireless Worldwide has announced the launch of a new Wholesale Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (W-IPVPN) solution, designed specifically for its Channel Partners. W-IPVPN is a scalable Wide Area Network (WAN) service that runs on Cable&Wireless’ Multi-Service Platform (MSP) over its next-generation network.

W-IPVPN has been developed for Partners to resell to multi-site, UK-based small to medium sized enterprises (SME) with 50+ employees. Leveraging the latest xDSL and Ethernet access technologies, W-IPVPN enables SMEs to build a higher-speed, private WAN, at an affordable price. The service includes support for ‘any-to-any’ site communication; W-IPVPN will give SMEs the ability to converge and centralise services and applications over a single WAN, ultimately helping to reduce costs.

The service includes a range of flexible features and service options, which can be ordered as required. In addition, a range of network based, integrated service options help further improve return on network investment including Network Based Internet Access and a Secure Remote User Access service.

Exclusively available to Cable&Wireless Channel Partners, W-IPVPN has been developed to be sold ‘off the shelf’. Partners benefit from comprehensive cross functional training, support and white label collateral, together with wholesale commercials and pricing. In addition, they have access to an enhanced online portal experience that includes quoting, ordering, reporting and e-billing.
