Nimans is reporting strong sales of a new DECT telephone from BT that has the ability to block unwanted cold calls.
Nimans says the BT 6500 represents a powerful new addition to a reseller’s sales armoury, opening up compelling sales opportunities in workplace and home office environments.
The BT device allows users to block any unwanted calls from up to 10 numbers not just international and withheld calls. They can put the phone into silent mode and add recognised numbers to a VIP list. Customers can copy contacts between handsets and set parental controls to block outgoing mobile/premium calls.
Nimans’ Purchasing Director, Andy Winfield, says the phone has a built-in answer machine, combining stylish design with all-in-one functionality.
“Until recently call blocking was not an inbuilt function of DECT telephones but this latest development from BT provides resellers with new weapons to clinch more business,” he emphasised. “The device has already become one of our best-selling BT lines with thousands of units selling each month. According to BT they are now a brand leader with a 9% market share in this sector.”
Nimans has developed a range of nuisance call solutions available from various manufacturers.
