Call Connection Limited, the Ipswich based call handling business, announces today that it is undertaking a process to identify potential partners for the business who can provide capital and expertise to finance the Company’s continued rapid growth.
Established in 2004, the Company has become a key player in the distribution of motor insurance, handling calls from over 2 million customers a year on behalf of its insurance partners. The business has grown rapidly, achieving EBITDA of £5.2 million in the year to September 2006, on turnover of £25 million.
The Company has identified a number of development opportunities which could be accelerated by partnering with a larger and well capitalised group. In particular, a group with access to marketing resources, a consumer brand and commercial relationships in new consumer finance markets, could add significant value to the Company.
Opportunities include exploitation of the Company’s advanced telephone convergence technology, commercialisation of the significant customer database to which the Company has access and development of online as well as telephone applications of its technology.
