Alternative fibre ISP Call Flow Solutions has raised €30m, from European investors, for FTTP rollout in Kent under their Trooli brand. The money will allow them to build a Gigabit capable FTTP broadband network to 500,000 premises across the South East of England within 5 years.
According to a Companies House filing, the money could have come from the CEBF fund, managed by Cube that also invested in G.Network.
Trooli has been in existence for about a year, an off-shoot of Call Flow Solutions who first sprang up in 2002. They have been able to achieve high speeds due to their sub loop unbundling approach to now. Trooli passes about 6,000 premises with its FTTP offering.
Call Flow Solutions was formed by ex-BT executive Andy Conibere, currently CEO, and its FTTC network now passes 12,000 premises in Kent, Hampshire, Berkshire & East Sussex.
