Calteq secures national pharmacy association win

Bespoke telecoms supplier, Calteq, has been awarded a 12 month contract to offer services exclusive to National Pharmacy Association (NPA) members in the UK.

Calteq has launched three packages, based on calls and line rental, with optional broadband. Additional minutes for UK mobile calls and international calls are also offered.

As well as considerable savings, customers will benefit from single billing for multiple lines and online billing. A 12 month contract with monthly invoices means that customers are not tied into typical two or three year contracts.

Calteq delivers its service using the UK’s largest network, BT’s OpenReach, which provides unrivalled voice quality.

The NPA is a not-for-profit trade association representing the vast majority of UK retail pharmacies. The contract follows a competitive pitch in which Calteq demonstrated a superior understanding of NPA members’ specific requirements, as well as high levels of customer service to secure the win.

Calteq’s offer was launched to NPA’s 12,000 members on 1st July and has already proven popular, with a large number of pharmacies already signed up. The deal is strictly for members only.

Mike Stephenson, Director at Calteq, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with the National Pharmacy Association and looking forward to delivering our services to its members. We strive to work with like-minded, ethical businesses, which makes the NPA a perfect addition to our client roster.”

Mike added: “Our packages were devised to provide UK pharmacies with an opportunity to save money and simplify their current telecoms provisions. We’ve launched three options with inclusive call bundles: the first package includes line rental and unlimited local and national calls. The second package also includes 350 minutes of UK mobile calls, and the third adds a further 250 minutes of international calls.

“Unlike many other providers, we’ve scrapped minimum call charges, call set ups and round up calls. Customers get simple, easy tariffs that are completely transparent so they know exactly what they’re paying for.”

Anne Smith, Head of Sales Operations for Calteq, said “We are pleased to be working with Calteq to provide our members with a flexible and cost effective telecoms service.”

Established in 2003, Calteq works with many of the UK’s leading telecommunications network and equipment providers to deliver its customers resilient and competitively priced voice and data solutions alongside exceptional customer service.
