Change of Direction sees KCC Global Rebrand as GTEQ Solutions

As part of an ongoing strategy aimed at positioning the Cheshire-based company within the converging IT and telecoms markets, KCC Global Telecoms (KCC) is to rebrand as GTEQ Solutions (GTEQ).

The move comes into effect on 1st February and will see the company use its reputation as one of the most trusted telecoms advisors in the industry as a springboard to further establish itself in a changing marketplace. Director, Karl McCaffrey, comments: “As a reseller, we are always going to be a reactive organisation but that doesn’t mean that we don’t recognise how the industry is changing.

“Information Technology is constantly evolving and we need to evolve with it. We have to position ourselves accordingly and this move will see us both add to our product portfolio and offer an improved overall service to our growing customer base.”

The company already provides a wide range of cost-effective bespoke business solutions to an array of blue chip and SME clients, including the likes of Toni & Guy and Diadora. With fourteen members of staff operating from its Adlington Business Park headquarters, McCaffrey now will oversee the setting up of a number of distinct divisions that will provide the operating model to take the business forward.

He continues: “Having always had network services and mobile voice and data divisions, we are now setting up both a hosted applications and a private mobile networks division.

“KCC is widely known as a capable provider of bespoke business telecoms solutions but we are confident that in rebranding and extending our product and service portfolio, existing and future dealer partners alike will see us as more of an IT brand.”

‘GTEQ’ means ‘greater than or equal to’ and as McCaffrey concludes, that is how he believes the marketplace will soon perceive the ambitious company: “Our ambition is to become recognised as an organisation that not only offers appropriate services but which also provides at least the same levels of expertise and customer service as our competitors, if not better,” he says.

“This rebrand is the first step of many and I’m confident that we are now in a strong position to move the company forward and to help our clients with their changing requirements along the way.”
