What is the best way to finish day one at the Convergence Summit South? A pantomime horse race...obviously! In aid of Marie Curie fourteen members of the Channel squeezed themselves in seven horse outfits and ran a short section of the course at Sandown Park. The event managed to raise just over £2500 which is fantastic. Comms Business would like to thank everyone that donated and a extra special thanks to our "horses".
The winners of the event were TalkTalk Business who managed to gallop past a fallen Timico horse on the line! Gamma romped home in second while Timico managed to recover to take the third spot! Prizes were given out by the exhibitor party sponsors Knight Corporate Finance and the two winners were treated to a day at the races, with wine and food, by Sandown Park.
