Channel Telecom recently held an IP Voice training session at the BT Centre in the City of London. The session was led by Tim Nelson, Head of Marketing and Product Management for Channel Telecom, supported by BT specialists.
The session covered the full IP voice services portfolio including hosted VoIP and SIP trunking. Training was provided on the complete feature set from basic through to advanced, with the latest enhancements such CRM integration included. The session also provided Channel Telecom partners with information on how to design and price a solution; and how to sell hosted VoIP and SIP trunking based on the latest insights from Channel Telecom’s own IP Voice sales team and the BT specialists. Demonstrations explained key features, including applications and admin portals such as call recording, iphone softphone app and windows softphone.
Tim Nelson states, “It is our aim to provide our partners with access to a wide choice of leading voice and data network services. But in addition we offer a raft of support and training services that give partners the edge in any competitive pitch they encounter. The training that Channel Telecom provides doesn’t just cover technical issues, but explains how to price and sell a solution to secure orders. We have a follow-up online webinar VoIP training event in the coming month, with the webinar recorded for those partners that cannot participate on the actual session day. More training sessions are planned throughout 2013 and would be delighted to talk to prospective new partners about the opportunities on offer with Channel Telecom.”
