Channel Telecom offers free ADSL back-up on Ethernet

Channel Telecom, the provider of business telecommunication services to the UK channel, can now offer its channel partners free ADSL back-up on Ethernet circuits. This provides customers with an automatic ‘failover’ to ADSL should the Ethernet circuit go down, without the need for manual intervention.

Channel Telecom can offer Ethernet over fibre or EFM (Ethernet in the First Mile) leased circuits of up to 1Gbps for uncontended Direct Internet Access. Ethernet provides permanently connected, point-to-point high speed data circuits that customers can use for applications such as ‘cloud’ computing and high speed data sharing between sites.

The inclusion of a free ADSL back-up circuit means that customers can enjoy the benefits of high-speed Ethernet connectivity with the assurance of complete business continuity at no additional charge. With a comprehensive portfolio of network connectivity options Channel Telecom’s DSL broadband offering includes all the latest variants such as FTTC and voice assured options.

Commenting on the Ethernet with free ADSL package, Clifford Norton, Managing Director of Channel Telecom said, “At Channel Telecom we are constantly working with our suppliers so that we can provide our channel partners with the best possible deals and incentives to win business, generate revenue and produce profit. The rapid growth of cloud apps has seen fast adoption of Ethernet, but customers want the reassurance as well as the benefits. Our free ADSL back-up circuit provides that reassurance empowering our channel partners to increased sales.”
