Channel Telecom held its annual golf day recently at the prestigious Hanbury Manor Hotel & Country Club. Guests from across the telecoms industry took part and enjoyed a great day’s golf playing the beautiful Hanbury course, former home of the English Open and the first course designed by Jack Nicklaus II.
There were prizes for best team, nearest the pin and longest drive. The best overall golfer prize went to Rob Murdoch of Hipcom. Rob started his round with a birdie and racked up an impressive 42 stableford points to claim the overall title. The day was rounded off the day in style with dinner where additional partners joined the evening at the Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel, a Jacobean country house set in 200 acres of spectacular Hertfordshire parkland.
For Channel Telecom, Clifford Norton, Managing Director commented, “We had a really great day, with a lot of fun and some excellent golf. We were fortunate to have mostly dry weather and it was good to share the day with so many of our channel partners, suppliers and friends in the industry. We look forward to next year for another memorable event.”
