Channels Need to Adapt To Survive Recession Says New Research

Networks & Network Services
A new joint research report from Equinox Business Consulting and Illume Consulting has highlighted that channels need to look at broader portfolios as one of the key ways to survive the recession

However choosing the right vendor to partner with is critical and the report includes a checklist of factors to assess. Entitled “Challenges for the Channel ...and how to Survive the Recession” it offers a fresh assessment of the market place and the best revenue opportunities together with practical advice.

Equinox Business Consulting has been founded by Dave Millett who recently left his role as Operations and Marketing Director at Inclarity. The company will focus on providing consultancy services to the Telecoms and IT industry. Specifically it will focus on helping companies adapt to the new market economics and develop new business, product and marketing strategies. It will be taking a fresh approach to each assignment with no off the shelf solutions.

Dave Millett said “I am looking forward to the new challenge. In today’s current environment of almost daily economic bad news and increasingly rapid pace of technological change, companies need to look at doing things differently if they are to succeed. Repeating the same strategies and approaches will not give organisations the growth they need. I believe many will value having specialist assistance to help them thrive rather than just struggling to survive”

Prior to joining Inclarity in 2007, where he helped them become one of the major suppliers of Hosted VOIP services in the UK, Dave held senior roles at Nortel, Avaya and Siemens.

Matthew Townend of Illume said “We are pleased to have worked with Equinox on this report. It is a valuable addition to our Spotlight series and will be of benefit to everyone in the channel”.

The report is and is available for download from Ilume’s Spotlight Report web site.
