Charterhouse Goes Platinum with Mitel

From a standing start six months ago Charterhouse has become a Mitel Platinum Solution Provider.

"The addition of the Mitel proposition to our portfolio is significant in enabling us to drive our business forward," commented David Bass, Telecoms Manager at Charterhouse. "IP's eventual replacement of traditional telephony has created a huge opportunity for us and we are seeing strong market demand. With the growth of standards such as SIP and products such as Microsoft Live Communications Server, the acceptance of IP as a robust reliable communications platform has hit the mainstream and Mitel will help us to capitalise on that opportunity."

The reseller says that since becoming a Mitel partner in July 2005, Charterhouse engineers and sales people have been through an intensive training process to become a Mitel accredited Solution Provider. The company has also demonstrated a high standard of technical and customer support. In return, Mitel is providing a dedicated account manager, technical support and marketing development funds and incentives.

"We've been really impressed at Charterhouse's commitment to Mitel and the speed with which they have achieved Platinum status," said Enda Kenneally, UK Sales Director at Mitel. "Having a broad technology portfolio and customer base will provide huge potential for Charterhouse to upsell Mitel products to its existing and new customers."

Charterhouse is one of 16 Mitel Platinum Solution Providers in the UK, and its appointment is part of Mitel's continuing drive to recruit high quality, experienced resellers. The Mitel portfolio offers new business benefits to Charterhouse's existing customers, such as reduced overheads, lower communications costs and more efficient working practices.
