The appointment comes after a successful year for Chess, who made nine acquisitions and grew its annual profits by 34%.

Dracup began his career at Chess after the acquisition of his own telecoms business, Hoodpoint, in 2004. Initially appointed Technology Manager, he has held a number of positions at Chess, joining the board of directors in 2009 as Business Development Director. In 2010 Stephen was made Managing Director of eBillz, a billing subsidiary of Chess, which under his leadership had its most successful year in its trading history in 2011.
