Chess Telecom held its annual Christmas Conference last month to celebrate their 2013 accomplishments while outlining an impressive growth strategy for 2014.
Senior board members took to the stage in front of their 280 people to announce outstanding financial figures for 2013 including an increase in turnover of 23% to £44m; an achievement that was described as a testament to Chess’ employees efforts throughout the year.
There was also a reward for Chess people who ‘exceeded customer expectations’ in 2013 with a £2000 world-wide holiday, a £1000 European holiday, a UK break and a pair of Ipad Airs.
David Pollock, Chief Executive of Chess, stated “2013 has been a great year for Chess, achieving our vision by continuously improving the knowledge, skills and performance of our people, including the introduction of our new ‘Academy training’ for all new starters which strengthens our ability to provide great customer service.’
